Meet Our New General Manager

Chris Atkins has been named the new general manager of our Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South dealership. Chris has been with Jim Ellis Automotive since November 2018 and has served in a variety of leadership roles. Chris previously served as Audi Marietta’s finance manager, pre-owned vehicle sales director and new vehicle sales manager at Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South. Most recently, Chris was in the role of general sales manager at Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South before his promotion to general manager.

No stranger to the car business, Chris previously worked at Mercedes-Benz under different ownership before Jim Ellis acquired it in March of 2021. “Interesting fact, I started my career at this store selling cars from 2013 until 2015 when I was promoted to finance. I left in 2018 because I had the opportunity to join Jim Ellis, the best automotive group in the WORLD!” said General Manager Chris Atkins.

Chris is excited to lead Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South with the goal to increase client satisfaction. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 20 years and their kids. He enjoys trail biking with his son, taking his daughter shopping and outdoor cooking for his family. Chris’ first car was a Mazda Protégé. His favorite car sold at Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South is the 2021 S 63 AMG® Coupe because it is the perfect blend of luxury, size and performance.
