If a V-8 engine isn’t enough to get your heart racing on its own, surely the Mercedes-AMG® GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE 0-60 rate will do the trick. The “S” and “E” initials in this model’s name stand for “S-Electric,” which highlights the plug-in-hybrid powertrain with a 4.0-liter V-8 and 150-kW electric motor. The “PERFORMANCE” moniker has every right to be written in all caps because this sports coupe sears the roadway with an astonishing 1,047 pound-feet of torque to hit 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds.
The GT 63 PRO 4MATIC®+ hasn’t yet been released, so we don’t have official 0-60 specs – but tests have revealed this iteration can rocket from zero to 124 mph in only 10.9 seconds and has a top speed of 197 mph. AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ variable AWD optimizes control, and AMG® carbon-ceramic high-performance composite brakes help ensure this speed demon stays safe.
